Global Environmental Management Standard

According to the "standards for management of substances with environmental impacts" adopted by Hanwha Techwin in Manufacturing environment-friendly products, substances with environmental implications are categorized into 3 group (20 materials) such as vanned materials, restricted materials, and monitored and reportable materials, depending on materials and applicable time.

1 Rsetrictied material (Class1)

It refers to 6 substances with RoHS (Cd, Pb, Hg, Cr +6 , PBBs, PBDEs) that were designated to be totally excluded from products, among those substances with environmental impacts. Those substances shall be reduced or expelled within a certain date as agreed between Hanwha Techwin and the suppliers according to this plan. But some exemptions, in case of those for particular use, which are not substitutable, are granted.

It refers to those prohibited among the substances with environmental impacts in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.

3 Monitored and reportable substances (Class 3)

It refers to those to be regulated. Its use and destination shall be reported to deal with international movement for restriction.
